Will the equipment survive the marine environment?

Yes — that is a core design requirement for any marine installation. We only use equipment with appropriate IP ratings for marine use — waterproof, salt-spray resistant and designed for the physical conditions experienced on a working vessel or coastal installation. We do not use standard consumer or commercial office equipment in marine installations.

Can you provide WiFi across a whole marina or harbour?

Absolutely. We design and install marina WiFi infrastructure that covers berths, pontoons, boatyards and shore-based facilities. This typically uses a combination of outdoor-rated access points and point-to-point links to deliver coverage across the full marina area. We can set up separate networks for visiting yachtsmen, permanent liveaboards and marina staff.

Do you work with individual yacht owners as well as commercial operators?

Yes. We work with individual leisure vessel owners, charter operators, fishing fleet operators and marina authorities — as well as commercial workboat and offshore operations. The scale and complexity of the installation differ, but the principles are the same: marine-rated equipment, properly installed, with direct support from our team.

Do you provide ongoing support after installation?

Yes. We offer managed support contracts that include remote monitoring, proactive fault management and direct engineer support. Most issues are resolved remotely before they affect your business. Where an on-site visit is needed, we have local engineers across Wales and the South West who can respond quickly.

Yes. Starlink's flat-panel antenna is compact enough to be installed on most commercial vessels and delivers fast, reliable broadband regardless of distance from shore. As certified Starlink installers, we handle the full design and installation — including antenna mounting, cable routing, weatherproofing and network integration. We have installed Starlink on vessels operating out of several Welsh and South West harbours.

For near-shore operations, bonded 4G using multiple networks with a marine-rated antenna system is typically the most cost-effective solution. For vessels operating further offshore or on routes through poor mobile coverage areas, Starlink satellite broadband provides reliable connectivity regardless of distance from shore. Many of our marine installations combine both technologies for maximum resilience.
