In most cases, yes. We can integrate real-time GPS data from the vehicle's onboard system with fleet management platforms and live passenger information systems. The specifics depend on the platform you are using — contact us to discuss your setup and we will advise on compatibility.

Do you work with smaller independent bus operators as well as large fleets?

Yes. We work with transport operators of all sizes — from small independent bus companies operating a handful of routes to larger operators with significant fleets. The technology scales, and we design a solution appropriate to the size and complexity of your operation.

Can you supply and install equipment for rail vehicles as well as road transport?

Our primary transport experience is in road transport — buses and coaches. For rail applications, get in touch, and we will discuss your specific requirements. The connectivity technologies we use are applicable across multiple transport modes. We are currently trialling the technology with very successful results.

Do you provide ongoing support after installation?

Yes. We offer managed support contracts that include remote monitoring, proactive fault management and direct engineer support. Most issues are resolved remotely before they affect your business. Where an on-site visit is needed, we have local engineers across Wales and the South West who can respond quickly.

Yes — and we have proven it. Dragon WiFi, in partnership with Peplink, delivered the UK's first Starlink-powered passenger bus on a rural Welsh route. The vehicle achieved consistent speeds of around 150Mbps throughout the journey, demonstrating that Starlink can deliver reliable, fast passenger WiFi on routes where 4G alone cannot. Starlink's flat-panel antenna is compact enough to be roof-mounted on standard vehicles and maintains a connection while moving.

This is exactly why we use multi-network bonded connectivity. Our systems combine multiple 4G SIMs from different networks with Starlink satellite broadband into a single bonded connection. If one network drops out, the others maintain the connection. For rural routes where gaps in mobile coverage are unavoidable, Starlink provides a baseline connection that covers the areas mobile networks cannot.
